Honglu Steel Structure Advances Smart Manufacturing Upgrades

HEFEI, CHINA - June 5, 2026 - Honglu Steel Structure said it is actively advancing the transformation and upgrading of its smart-manufacturing capabilities as the company expands automation across its steel-structure production system.

The initiative combines specialized production lines, industrial robots, digital monitoring, and internally developed equipment intended to improve product quality, production efficiency, and long-term cost competitiveness.

Intelligent Equipment Expands Across Production

Honglu has introduced intelligent high-power flat laser cutting equipment, three-dimensional five-axis laser cutting machines, secondary processing lines for structural sections, specialized BOX production lines, automated welding systems, and intelligent spray-coating lines.

The company has also continued developing and deploying industrial welding robots, portable welding robots, multi-machine welding workstations, box-column welding robots, and inspection systems for steel-structure components.

Key Priorities for the Upgrade

  • Production Efficiency: Automated cutting, welding, inspection, and coating equipment can reduce repetitive manual work and improve throughput.
  • Quality Consistency: Digital production controls and robot-enabled processes support more consistent component quality across Honglu’s manufacturing bases.
  • Cost Control: Honglu expects smart manufacturing to strengthen long-term cost competitiveness, although the benefits may not be immediately visible.
  • Internal Innovation: The company continues to develop and integrate equipment suited to the specific requirements of large-scale steel-structure manufacturing.

Long-Term Manufacturing Competitiveness

Honglu’s smart-manufacturing program supports demand from industrial plants, data centers, new energy facilities, logistics buildings, public infrastructure, and other large steel-structure applications.

For customers and project partners, the continued upgrade points to greater production standardization, stronger quality control, and more reliable delivery capacity across complex steel-structure programs.
